This science fair allows the students to use the instruments that they are learning about, and it allows them to create their exhibit. If the students choose to build an exhibit, they must first research the exhibit and then write a proposal to show how their exhibit would fit into the science fair that they are planning to enter. The teachers will then review all the proposals and make the final decisions. When the students get accepted into the science fair, they are given a prize for their project, which will be donated by the Dallas Museum of Natural History.
